Posts: 2493 | The JVC camcorders record to micro SDHC cards, but it is in SD not HD format. They also have an HDD as standard. To use the HDD, you need the dedicated disc writer. To use the flash memory, you just select it in the menu and that s that. It accepts cards up to 2Gb for certain and possibly up to 4Gb. The cards are cheap and readily available as they also fit mobile phones. The main difficulty is the small size of the camcorder. If you have big hands it may be difficult to press the red button without moving the machine. I think that they start at ~£190 for a 30Gb HDD model. My wife really likes hers.
